These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CertVerify platform operated by Paradigm Rigging Inc. ("we", "us", "our") at certs.paradigmrigging.com (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
CertVerify is a calibration certificate and inspection record management platform. The Service allows equipment owners and calibration providers to upload, store, and publicly share calibration certificates and inspection records. The public may look up equipment status by serial number or QR code.
Important: CertVerify is an information display platform. We do not perform calibrations, inspections, or safety assessments. We do not independently verify the accuracy or authenticity of any certificate or data uploaded to the platform.
To upload certificates or claim equipment ownership, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that remain inactive for an extended period.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes related to calibration certificate management. You agree not to: upload falsified, fraudulent, or misleading calibration certificates or data; attempt to claim ownership of equipment you do not own; interfere with the security or operation of the Service; use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download data from the platform; or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
Users who upload calibration certificates are solely responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of the data. CertVerify relies on automated data extraction (including AI-assisted PDF parsing) which may occasionally produce errors. Uploaders should review extracted data for accuracy after upload.
CertVerify does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or validity of any certificate data displayed on the platform. The display of a calibration certificate on CertVerify does not constitute an endorsement, certification, or warranty of any equipment's fitness for use.
Ownership claims on CertVerify are user-submitted and may be verified by Paradigm Rigging at our discretion. A "Verified" ownership status means the claim has been confirmed through our verification process, but it does not constitute a legal determination of ownership. Disputes over equipment ownership should be resolved between the parties involved.
CertVerify offers free and paid subscription tiers. Free accounts are limited to 5 certificates. Paid tiers offer additional features as described on the platform. We reserve the right to modify pricing and features with reasonable notice. Paid subscriptions include a 7-day trial period. Cancellation and refund policies will be communicated at the time of purchase.
CertVerify and Paradigm Rigging Inc. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from: reliance on calibration data displayed on the platform; equipment failure or safety incidents related to equipment listed on the platform; inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent certificate data uploaded by users; service interruptions or data loss; or decisions made based on information provided by the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Users are solely responsible for independently verifying equipment calibration status with the issuing calibration authority before placing equipment into service. CertVerify is a reference tool, not a substitute for professional inspection or safety certification.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Paradigm Rigging Inc., its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or any data you upload to the platform.
The CertVerify platform, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of Paradigm Rigging Inc. Calibration certificates and equipment data uploaded by users remain the property of their respective owners. By uploading data, you grant us a license to store, display, and process that data as necessary to operate the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain equipment and certificate data as necessary for the integrity of the calibration registry.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction in Canada.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
